Accessibility Statement
How we build this site so everyone can use it, what we have checked, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use thepixelforge.net. We design and build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Text, links and buttons checked for colour contrast against WCAG AA. We measured every page rather than estimating.
- One main heading on each page, with headings in order.
- A “Skip to content” link for keyboard users.
- A visible outline on links, buttons and form fields when you move through the page with a keyboard.
- A label on every form field.
- Text descriptions on images that carry information.
- Less animation when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- The screenshots of client websites are images. Each has a short text description, but the text inside the screenshot can’t be read by a screen reader.
- We haven’t yet tested every page with a screen reader. That’s next on our list.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site doesn’t work for you, email info@thepixelforge.net with “Accessibility” in the subject. Please include the page address, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology you use.
We aim to reply within 15 business days and to give you an update or a timeline within 30 business days.
How we checked
We measure colour contrast on every page in a real browser, check the menu and forms with a keyboard, and review page structure and headings. We’ll update this statement as we test more.
